Rooted in Taounate, a rugged and timeless corner of Morocco’s southern Rif Mountains, 120 km northeast of Fez, the country’s center of craftsmanship.
Taounate is a land of fertile valleys and enduring traditions. Figs, olives, and wheat thrive alongside artisans who keep alive the ancient arts of pottery, weaving, and woodworking.
Here, daily life is shaped by generations of farmers, artisans, and families living close to the land, preserving traditions with care and simplicity, a place where the soul of rural Morocco remains beautifully intact.
Our project has taken root in a house crafted from adobe, wood, and stone, built by hand with traditional methods, where every detail reflects the skill and wisdom of local makers. It is a home that honors craftsmanship and culture, where visitors step into a world of craft, life, and meaningful connection.
